A golfing oasis surrounded by outstanding views of the Radnorshire Hills, overlooking Rhosgoch Bog, a sight of special Scientific Interest, one of the few 'quacking bogs' remaining in Europe, supporting rare and endangered wildlife and flora. The 5000 yards, par 68 course, utilises the natural slopes providing a challenging game of golf, a good test for experienced golfers, yet suitable for all ages and all standards of play. There is no dress code; all that is required is respect for trhe cuorse and courtesy to fellow golfers.

In 1905 a group of local businessmen had the foresight to establish an 18-hole golf course on land overlooking the spa town of Llandrindod Wells to service the needs of the thousands of visitors that flocked to the town to “take the waters”. The course was designed by six times open champion Harry Vardon, and altered some years later by James Braid, to produce, essentially, the superb course of 18 challenging holes, almost 5800 yards in length (par 69), that you see today. Located just outside the Victorian town of Llandrindod Wells, in the heart of picturesque Mid Wales. An eight bay floodlit driving range has been constructed on land adjacent to the first fairway and offers an ideal place to warm up before you step onto the first tee or to practice your swing.

The town is surrounded by majestic rural countryside with many historic walks. There is plenty to occupy the parts of the day when not golfing.
